Spring Classes 2022
This year instead of 8 week classes we will be doing 1 day pop up classes.  These workshops are a great introduction to theatre for our newcomers and a great way to hone your skills if you are a Playmakers veteran.  All classes will take place at the Reilly Theatre.

Fractured Fairy Tales
There will be two separate sessions for this class.  Each will focus on their own story.

Ages: 5-7
Cost: $50
10:00am-12:00pm
Session A- March 12th
Session B- March 19th

In this class for 5-7 year olds, students will take a close look at a familiar tale. They will identify the story’s elements and then modify them to make the story their own. This active class will include basic theatre games and warm-ups, as well as pantomime, movement, and improvisation activities. At the end of class, students will act out their own fairy tale!

Improv

This Improv Workshop takes students through all the core principles of improv in a fun, safe environment. They will build self-confidence, develop their creativity, experiment, and play. Learning to say “Yes, and” helps actors to be present and in the moment, growing not just their comedy skills but building the basic foundation for a successful actor!

Annie Audition Workshop

This workshop offers you a chance to work with the director and choreographer of Annie Jr. before the auditions. We will focus on song selection, cold readings, and choreography.
